Overview of Experience and Nature of Practice:

Starting practice in Los Angeles in 1990 as an associate and then a partner at a well-regarded Los Angeles firm, A.J. worked on and handled a large variety of business litigation disputes, both on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants. The matters in which she was involved included disputes involving real estate fraud, unfair trade practices, business torts, contract breaches, and franchisor-franchisee relations. She similarly handled major securities fraud and professional negligence litigation with millions of dollars at stake. She further handled numerous health care disputes, and her practice in this regard greatly expanded when she moved to Louisville in 2002. Since that time, A.J. has litigated or arbitrated hundreds of health-care related matters across the country with an emphasis on payor-provider disputes, managed care contracting issues, and issues involving ERISA, FEHB, Medicare, Medicaid, PPACA, and numerous state insurance codes.
