Matt Williams

Overview of Experience and Nature of Practice:

Matt joined the firm in 2013 and focuses his practice on commercial litigation and healthcare matters. He has appeared in numerous courts throughout the United States as part of his litigation practice and has represented a diverse range of businesses, from large publicly traded Fortune 500 companies to closely-held local businesses.

Immediately prior to joining the firm, Matt spent one and a half years serving as a law clerk for United States District Judge Charles R. Simpson III of the Western District of Kentucky. Prior to his clerkship, Matt served for three and a half years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Appeals Bureau of the New York County District Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, Matt briefed and argued three cases before New York’s highest court, the New York Court of Appeals, and numerous others before the New York Appellate Division, First Department.
