Scott Gowen

Overview of Experience and Nature of Practice:

Scott defends national and regional companies in litigation involving product liability, with a concentration in toxic/mass tort. Building on his trial experience, Scott has developed a unique and common sense approach to defending product manufacturers and premises owners. Scott also defends individuals and companies in automobile and truck accident cases on behalf of insurance companies and self-insured entities.

Scott and his wife, Jackie, enjoy the Olmsted park system near their home and strolling along Bardstown Road in search of the best pizza.

Professional Accolades: Scott has tried over 25 cases to verdict as lead trial counsel in Kentucky’s state and federal courts. Scott is AV rated by his peers as part of the Martindale-Hubbell evaluation process, the highest possible ranking for ethical standards and professional ability.

Community Involvement: Scott serves as a part-time Assistant Jefferson County Attorney defending Louisville Metro Government and its elected officials and employees in personal injury litigation. Scott honorably served in the United States Army Europe from 1983-1985.
