Overview of Experience and Nature of Practice:
Wendy has a broad range of experience practicing in the areas of business bankruptcy and restructuring, commercial foreclosure, commercial litigation, loan documentation, contract drafting and analysis, and providing general counsel advice for both small and large businesses. Wendy has a long history of representing banks and borrowers, creditors and debtors, and businesses and business owners in all aspects of workout and restructuring matters.
Wendy is also a graduate of the Bankruptcy Mediation Training Program offered by the American Bankruptcy Institute and the St. Johns University School of Law.
Wendy is a regular speaker on bankruptcy and restructuring topics for continuing education programs, and has served as a bankruptcy instructor for an auctioneer certification program and as an adjunct instructor in bankruptcy for IUPUI.

Wendy enjoys spending her time away from the office traveling, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family (which usually involves watching her children playing sports or performing).

Community Involvement: Wendy is active in the community and has served on multiple not-for-profit boards. She served on the board of directors for Partners in Housing Development Corporation from 2006 through 2022 and on the Board of Happy Hollow Children’s Camp from 2006-11 and 2015-17. She also served as a Board Member for FHS Tiger Volleyball, Inc., and as a founding Board Member for the Fishers Fast Break Club, Inc. Wendy also served for several years on the Mayor’s Celebration of Diversity Awards Luncheon Committee. In 2012, Partners in Housing established the Wendy Brewer Volunteer of the Year Award in her name and Wendy is also the recipient of the 2011 Hugh Frey Pathfinder Award awarded by Happy Hollow Children’s Camp.
