Elizabeth’s practice is focused on representation of clients in complex bankruptcy cases, breach of contract matters, commercial collection litigation, construction liens and related disputes, and healthcare regulatory issues. Prior to joining the firm, Elizabeth practiced with a regional creditor’s rights law firm, representing clients in various federal and state courts. Elizabeth has won summary judgments for clients in landlord/tenant disputes, commercial collection matters, and bankruptcy adversary proceedings, negotiated favorable resolutions for clients involved in construction disputes, and currently handles the national collection portfolio for an international appliance manufacturer.

Professional Accolades: Louisville Bar Association Bankruptcy Section chair 2014-2016; Western District of Kentucky Bankruptcy Court local rules committee.
Community Involvement: Elizabeth serves on the board of the Credit Abuse Resistance Education (CARE) program, and is a long time volunteer for CARE, speaking to high school students regularly about financial literacy. Elizabeth is the treasurer for the University of Louisville’s Women Alumni Council, and also works with her therapy dog Ted on children’s reading initiatives in the community.
Elizabeth has two children in college and enjoys college sports as well as reading, playing the piano, and hiking.
