FMD’s attorneys have a national practice, providing efficient and common sense representation to clients in a wide variety of real estate, corporate, and finance matters throughout the United States. We counsel clients in constructive and creative ways that maximize their business opportunities while also assisting them in complying with relevant legal requirements. Our real estate attorneys represent clients ranging from publicly held real estate investment trusts (REITs) and other large corporations to individuals and small business owners in matters that include purchase and sale transactions, commercial leasing transactions, development transactions, and general asset management matters – with a particular emphasis on health care properties such as senior housing facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and medical office buildings. Our experience includes complex multi-state purchase and sale and master lease transactions, although we also represent clients in small single property transactions.

FMD’s corporate group represents clients in general corporate matters, including entity formation and the preparation and negotiation of operating and control documentation, and in the acquisition and disposition of business entities. We also represent both lenders and borrowers in lending transactions as part of our finance practice.
